ATELIER MUNICH
Bold contrasts, delicately harmonized.
This atelier in Munich shows how a holistic design concept can arise from the diametrical use of details: black and white contrasting with honey-colored wood, soft curves combined with angular profiles, different textures and surfaces from high gloss to matt.
A chequerboard floor bordered by brushed oak planks and finished off with tall stone pedestals. Above it, expressive door frames and veneer changes with rounded handles. Numerous bespoke items, a curved table with a hammered base by Hamilton Conte, shell frame mirrors by Porta Romana and chandeliers by Barovier & Toso. On the walls, art by André de Plessel, along with pieces found in galleries in Paris and around the world.
