VILLA LAKE CONSTANCE
With this conversion, Thomas Mang Studio shows how old and new can be harmonised into a truly cosy whole.
The villa on Lake Constance dates back to the 1960s. The brief was to carry out a careful renovation that would preserve the doors, sandstone floors and herringbone parquet flooring, while still infusing the property with a new spirit of the times.
Farrow & Ball meets Cole & Son
Farrow & Ball wall paints are renowned for their exceptional depth and atmospheric light reaction; the pleasantly warm atmosphere is accentuated by the usual unusual wallpapers from Cole & Son.
Antique market & Original BTC
The magnificent view of Lake Constance can be enjoyed from an Eames Chair or Wishbone Dining Chairs through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Moreover, porcelain lamps from Original BTC exude timeless elegance; the lamps in the fireplace room, on the other hand, date back to the 1970s and were found at an antique market in Paris.
