Townhouse in Munich – designed as a residence full of luxury and style, right in the heart of the city.
At Schwabinger Tor, a restored home is being created for a large family that captures the typical atmosphere of Munich’s legendary district: slightly nostalgic and with an artistic soul, but at the same time clear and contemporary.
Art, design & memories
Inside, a dialogue between different eras unfolds: contemporary portraits of the residents stand alongside historical paintings, collectibles from Klaus Dupont and Nymphenburg correspond with unique cushions made from fabrics by Donghia and Rubelli.
This creates a dense network of art, design and memorabilia that gives each room its own story. Functional elements are also given a new role – the former food lift, for example, has been pragmatically transformed into a bar.
Fitness, cinema & lifestyle
The vertical layout of the house becomes a choreographed tour: carefully restored stone steps lead to the fitness area, while warm wooden steps lead to the private cinema under the roof.
