HIDEAWAY MUNICH
Luxury architecture with a story to tell – in an elegant refuge, inspired by the design of a yacht.
This apartment in the heart of Munich features shapes and design elements reminiscent of the interior of a yacht. This was what the client wanted – and this is what was developed in joint workshops.
The elegance of a yacht
The elegance of a yacht has been translated into an interior that is as sophisticated as it is comfortable, with soft curves, precise geometries and a flowing continuity between the rooms. For tangible harmony and clarity through masterful precision.
The yacht-inspired interior is also reflected in the use of fine woods and high-quality fabrics: tactile materials designed to age beautifully and convey a sense of calm and patina.
Promemoria, Hermès & Dedar
The design concept became reality based on selected furniture and accessories: tables, sofas and chairs by Promemoria, Hermès and Minotti. Fabrics by Dedar, wallpaper by Loro Piana and carpets by Tai Ping.
The doors are by the prestigious Italian manufacturer Rimadesio, the lights by Occhio and the vases by Venini; the kitchen and bathroom feature the finest natural stone and nickel-finished fittings by Vola.
